I’m a solo dev now, but I didn’t start out that way. I began as a mechanical engineer. I picked up Python because Excel couldn’t keep up. Then C and C++—I wanted to design my own actuator controls. Now I’m working in JS/TS to build a requirement management tool with a simple, flat, ordered JSON core—right alongside the code because that’s where I think requirements belong.
