SPA Hackatron (swimmers only)

A few months ago I decided I wanted to try working one day a week outside of the office, together with my nearest co-worker. We almost always get most things done when we work together, so without him it wouldn't fly.

We decided on Tuesdays as our day, because on Mondays we have our mandatory general lunch meeting where we all socialize and are briefed on the latest news here at Trustly.

But where would we go? Hotel lobby? Café? Not bad, but none of them felt perfect. We kept on thinking, and then came up with a really exciting disruptive idea! Why not....a SPA?!

Can you seriously imagine a better working environment than a SPA? Within seconds from pushing your commit you can be in the pool or sauna, relaxing for a while, then returning, and within seconds be back writing code!

When we finished that evening, we both realized we just finished the entire thing, which we thought would take weeks! We did it all in just 10 hours straight focusing on just one single thing, without interruptions of any kind, no mobiles, no email, nothing else than coding that exact thing we agreed to focus on.

Since then, which was six weeks ago, we have been working every Tuesday from a new location every time. Without exaggerating we've finished work we expected would take nice whole months in just five ten hour working days, spread out over these five weeks.
