Do you have a good Bankruptcy/Collections Lawyer in the Bay Area?
What are the options for collection against a company that just went into bankruptcy? Or does bankruptcy automatically protect it from any additional collection measures?
I have a number of fairly successful applications for the iPhone. I worked with MobClix (parent Velti) to run ads. They owe my company in the the $X00,000 and after months of trying to collect they filed for bankruptcy.[1][2]
Do I have any options? Can I go after the parent company "Velti" even though they're putting their other US subsidies/business under Chapter 11? Should I get a lawyer? And if so, do you have a recommendation on who to contact in the bay area?
