Tell HN: Notion's Fraudulent Sunset of Skiff

Skiff was sunset after being acquired by Notion but we were promised email forwarding would continue to be available until the 9th of February, 2025 (https://skiff.com/data-migration) for those of us that could not immediately access accounts linked to a Skiff email, with support still available through [email protected].

Both have turned out to be complete lies. [email protected] only responds with an automated acknowledgement but is otherwise dead, not responding to even refund requests. This has been the case for over 4 months (https://old.reddit.com/r/skiffmail/comments/1g3gqgy/skiff_support).

Forwarding does not work because in about that same time, Notion has refused to fix Skiff's certificate issues (https://old.reddit.com/r/skiffmail/comments/1h2ob1g/forwarding_error_response), trapping those of us with accounts linked to Skiff.

To add insult to injury, contacting Notion ([email protected]) has proved fruitless the last month as they respond with barely coherent, AI-generated garbage that says to still email the dead [email protected] but with a different subject. Their official subreddit (https://old.reddit.com/r/skiff) is dead and only the unofficial subreddit is left.

I have exhausted all other options so this is my last ditch attempt to avoid permanently losing my account trapped by Notion's Skiff.
