I know there are other email extractors out there, but I wanted to create something more powerful and user-friendly. After 2 months of development and testing, I managed to publish this Chrome extension on the Chrome Web Store. It's still a work in progress with a few bugs to iron out, but I'm really proud of what we've built so far.
EmailMagnet uses a combination of DOM parsing and regex matching to identify and extract valid email addresses from web pages. It runs silently in the background, populating your contact list as you browse. No manual searching or data entry required.
Some key features: - automatically extracts emails from any website - deduplicates and verifies emails for accuracy
I built this as a side project to scratch my own itch. As a marketer, I was tired of the tedious process of hunting for emails online. EmailMagnet has already saved me tons of time and effort. Hopefully it can do the same for others!
Let me know what you think! I'm eager to get feedback from the HN community. If you have any ideas for improvements or new features I'd love to hear them. I'll be actively developing EmailMagnet going forward, so stay tuned for updates.
You can install EmailMagnet and test it from the Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/emailmagnet-email-e...
Thanks!
