I signed up, verified my identification, 3 weeks of payments go by, they block funds from going to my main wallet, fine, I thousands in payments come in within these 3 weeks, I have no NSFW business so I assume I'm in good standing with PayPal, but behold an issue, they permanent block me... for what I'm trying to wrap my head around, I spoke to support, they say it's because of one of these 3 things or more
1. inconsistent log in location 2. too much chargeback or disputes 3. same email on multiple accounts
Inconsistent log in location, so can someone not travel and log into their business account? or can someone not use a VPN? how does this warrant closure of a business account? I tell them exactly this and also note that it shouldn't really matter, I use my mobile that I registered on to log in, I use my computer, I use any device with a connection to log in and check regularly, the response is "Well there is high cases of people stealing phones" ... lol what?? so what does that have to do with me? this can't be a me issue if out of 29,000 reviews there are more 1 star reviews than 5 stars https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.paypal.com
They tell me about the second reason amongst other things, and I'm also confused, because out of the many customers, only 1 disputed and that is only because they was charged 2x accidentally, I refuned them on the same day, so why would I get punished for that???
they can see the proof on my account, they say that I have lots of customer disputing, clearly lying to my face, like i'm an idiot, the customer ended up purchasing again anyways as it was a mistake to double charge on his end
Last possible reason was same email, multiple accounts, I have a business and personal account ... what metric are they using to know this?? if it's IP based then its flawed, I have many people in my house with paypal, I just fail to understand how someone can use PayPal for 3 weeks, on a verified account, with verified bank information, phone number, etc and get closed only AFTER you make money, it seems like payment processors do this on purpose to make money and close businesses down...
Anyways this was a rant, I've appealed 2x, i'm hoping they make the right decision and let me do my business, if not it's fine, I will be the 1 out of 29,000+ bad reviews that will swear to never use paypal for business again, i did this post just to let some steam off, this is annoying
