I have never installed Windows via USB, and the internet is not clear about it.
I need The Pro version, not the Home version, because I need to be able to install MS Hyper V (Virtual machines). We do this at school. Again, it needs to be Pro, not Home.
The choice of v 10 instead of v 11 is personal choice.
I have bought a product key for Windows 10 Pro at MMOGA (So, if you argue to use v 11, too late): https://www.mmoga.de/Software/Windows/Microsoft-Windows-10-Professional-OEM.html
I am currently creating the boot medium, as described here: https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/software-download/windows10
My question is, do I just install it from this USB stick and enter the Windows 10 Pro product key during the installation and it will then automatically install Windows 10 Pro?
Or does it install Windows 10 Home and then I have to upgrade it as described here: https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/windows/upgrade-von-windows-home-auf-windows-pro-ef34d520-e73f-3198-c525-d1a218cc2818#WindowsVersion=Windows_10
I just have this Laptop, so I can not search during the installation (I have a Linux Mint boot stick for the worst case szenario).
