Show HN: I created an AI commercial about GitHub (just for fun)

In childhood I dreamt about becoming a film director. But then I became a developer :)

In the last months I've seen a lot of AI films on Twitter. So I decided that given my knowledge about AI tools I should try to shoot a film.

The only question was, that this film should be about?

I am working at an open-source startup (crowd.dev) and recently I also made a side-project that generates AI pictures in a GitHub logo style (octoart.vercel.app).

GitHub even wrote about me in the blog (https://github.blog/2023-12-19-release-radar-dec-2023/).

So I thought, why not to shoot a commercial about GitHub? It is a relatively short format and there is a chance GitHub will write about me (again).

So yes, I went ahead and created this AI commercial using MidJourney, Runwayml, Pika and ElevenLabs.

Maybe it's stupid and silly, but to be honest I don't care - I just wanted to experiment.

Would love to hear your thoughts about the film!
