It seems the common thread is that platforms always end up turning into casinos, where only a handful of people win, only to encourage others to play. We've also had massive scams like Crypto and NFTs born out of it, and if we all don't begin to get honest with each other (people who don't work for and profit off of social media) it's going to waste tons of our valuable time over and over again with each new platform launched. Congress also needs to regulate this, it's done tremendous financial and emotional damage to our world. We need to bring business and entrepreneurship out of this dark age of free work scams and inequality imposed by selfish tech company executives.
Here's a relevant article on enshittification (Wired) that is a must read for anyone who is bewildered on why social media doesn't work for them... It might just save you years of time in your valuable life.

I have no connection to the article or any of the companies involved within it... I'm totally independent from any agenda as well other than being a user at the mercy of their schemes.
I'm just very tired of the continually torturous deception and control in just trying to get traction for my business within this withering, imbalanced, and deeply manipulative online marketing/promotional social media ecosystem.
