Maps app for tourist attractions and parks?

I use an Android app 'You are here's that lets me take a photo of a map (e.g. at a large theme park) and then it shows a blue dot of my current location.

I find this really helpful, but it needs 60-90 seconds of manual effort to set it up after taking the initial photo. It's not hard: you just have to match two points on the photo map, to two points on a regular map.

The app has only 6-7 maps built in. If it had 100s or 1000s, covering most popular places that aren't on public roads, it would be amazing.

Is there anything like this for any platform?
