As a graduate student majoring in Robotics at the esteemed University at Buffalo, SUNY, I am eager to secure a full-time / Internship role as an AI / Machine Learning Engineer. Throughout my master's degree program, I developed a profound passion for working as an AI / Machine Learning Engineer. My academic journey has equipped me with a diverse skill set, encompassing various pertinent subjects, such as Programming for Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision.
Additionally, during my undergraduate studies, I gained proficiency in programming languages like Python, C and C++, further enhancing my technical capabilities. My experience extends to working with essential tools like OpenCV Libraries, Data Visualization tools like PowerBI, and Statistical Modeling. I am well-versed in implementing Machine Learning algorithms such as Regression, Decision Tree, K-means, and Random Forest. Moreover, I possess a solid understanding of SQL and have undertaken several meaningful projects utilizing deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and TensorRT.
In my current role as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at GamePlay Inc, I am actively involved in the development of machine learning models. These models are designed to classify images of diverse sports fields, such as infield, tennis courts, and basketball courts. This experience has allowed me to apply my expertise in machine learning algorithms to real-world problems, further enhancing my skills.
During my previous tenure as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at BlueLinx Corporation, I played a pivotal role in building machine learning models with a wide range of applications. These models were instrumental in predicting sales trends, segmenting customer data effectively, and developing time series forecasting models. Additionally, I had the opportunity to create dynamic and informative outage monitoring dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau.
During my master's program, I undertook challenging projects, that demonstrates my programming skills, including facial recognition, optical character recognition, Image Panoramic Stitching, and Camera Calibration using OpenCV. Additionally, I successfully completed projects involving robotic path planning algorithms (A* and Dijkstra) using ROS in the Linux operating system.
Throughout my professional journey, I have exhibited a strong commitment to excellence and demonstrated exceptional skills in task prioritization, meeting deadlines, and overcoming obstacles. Some key areas in which I have developed expertise includes training Machine Learning models, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Computer Vision.
