I'm looking into various types of tools that can be used for mind-mapping, and specifically I'm trying to find out whether there are some tools that enable easy editing, ideally both on desktop and mobile, and also have visualization options that let you share the mindmap through a website (for example by generating an HTML-file).
There are existing open-source tools for mind-mapping like Freeplane[1], but the software is a bit bloated and limits your ability to edit and view the mind map easily on any device. Then you have tools for visualizing Markdown lists, which makes it very easy to create and edit on any device (for example Markmap[1]), but they don't let you create connections between any two nodes (it is only hierarchical structure). Graph views have become popular through for example Obsidian and Logseq, but those are graphs for notes/documents, and not exactly mind maps.
My use case is to create an overview of ideas and concepts, tied to the titles of research papers (to easily have a reference for more details). I have often created mind maps on paper, but I quickly run out of space. Anyone has any interesting options or suggestions? :)
EDIT: Maybe I should have used to term "concept map" instead of "mind map", since I'm looking for something that enables many-to-many relationships.
