Excited to share McMaster-AR, a new Chrome extension that brings 3D models of McMaster-Carr parts to your screen, no downloads required.

The extensions adds a 3D viewer to the product descriptions of all McMaster-Carr parts that have CAD files. It also provides a link, via a QR code, to view the models in Augmented Reality on a mobile device.

For all the hardware folks on Hacker News, I hope this adds a new dimension to your McMaster-Carr shopping experience!
