Their last release for GeoPlanet (here http://developer.yahoo.com/geo/geoplanet/data/ ) was in 2010 and their official forum posts go unanswered by Yahoo.

Is this the sign of a dead project? The Twitter from being quite active (400 Tweets), is a ghost town (No Tweets in over a year), https://twitter.com/YahooGeo and the person running the Twitter account seems to have signed off based on this Tweet: https://twitter.com/#!/YahooGeo/status/14906036229

I can't figure out anything, and the current dataset has clear omissions. Thoughts?
