I use an HP Omen gaming laptop for everything, and have several of them - but they all vent/fan through the bottom, and basically when they sit on a pillow, effectively are smothered and get hot and fans go nuts.
I had a dream the other night of a pillow that was made out of a mesh material that would be cushy-enough to allow the machine to breathe and would be comfy on my lap... I recently got an Ender3 and was wondering if I could print such a thing...
I have yet to assemble my Ender...

Today I had to go to KP Market for some things, and I like to slowly peruse stores as I go through them...
They had these mesh 'seat adapter cushions' (I dont know what they are called, but the things you put on your back for lower back support, airflow, etc.
HOLY GOODNESS!
I am typing to you now with a mesh seat liner thingy from KP that was $15 and the machine can breathe and I can sit in a variety of positions without suffocating my machine.
Highly recommend.
The actual lower back doo-dads are $4.99, but the full size thing which has seat and back (but no curvature) is $15...
