I've been looking for feedback about a concept related to "data sharding".

The primary questions are -

Why is it stupid to connect data into a coordinate space and has it been done before?

What am i ignorant about when suggesting the concept of saving data while storing similar things? What is this similar to?

Excerpt - If i store "Hello" where each letter is one coordinate space and a sequence of them creates "Hello" , a new word "Hello world!" may just reference an already defined sequence and store "world!"
