Ask HN: A tool to log a Spotify user's song history

Was wondering whether anyone knows of any unofficial tools that log a Spotify user's play history by exploiting the "Friend Activity" feed? The "Friend Activity" feed is in the Desktop version, not sure about mobile/web [1]

I am thinking something simple like pasting the user's account [2] into a tool that then starts pinging it every minute and writing to a txt file.

Anything like this out there?
