My vote is Sweden. Being an American, and spending an extended period in Stockholm; 3 months and 1.5 months independently. Sweden is underappreciated. While not always "high tech and academic" look at the biggest YouTube game streamer Pewdiepie. Then there is Pirate Bay and of course Spotify.
