Tell HN: The National Theatre (UK) streams weekly – this week is brilliant

The National Theatre in the UK has been streaming past productions every week for the past few months. I have watched a few productions: liked some, not others. This week is the best I have seen. It's called Small Island and is set in 1940s Britain. It is based on a 2004 novel by the author Andrea Levy and made into a 2019 stage production. The stage production description from Wikipedia:

Hortense yearns for a new life away from rural Jamaica, Gilbert dreams of becoming a lawyer, and Queenie longs to escape her Lincolnshire roots. In these three intimately connected stories, hope and humanity meet stubborn reality, tracing the tangled history of Jamaica and Britain

Even if you don't watch theatre (I don't normally), I can really recommend this and think you will both like and might be surprised by how richly well told is the story. (The only reason for posting here, I felt is was so good worth sharing).

Alas, the production is only available until Thu 25 June at 6pm UTC so if you want to give it a try you won't have much longer to watch. If you do watch, post your thoughts here :-)
