I am starting a reading group that will virtually meet regularly to discuss selected works related to Climate Change and AI, and I'm looking for people to join!
I am personally interested in a holistic approach, and would like to read every topic from pure environmental works to math and stats theory behind ML to ML applied to climate change. I have these three pieces to give you an idea of the range I am interested in: - [Racial Ecologies ](https://www.jstor.org/stable/j.ctvcwnm95)(chapter 2 was recommended to me) - [ Zoom In: An Introduction to Circuits](https://distill.pub/2020/circuits/zoom-in/) - Select [papers from the ICLR 2020 Workshop](https://iclr.cc/virtual_2020/papers.html?filter=keywords) that took place back in April
However - I care more about finding a group that wants to read & meet regularly so I'm open to deciding on the material as a group. If you're interested, please [fill out this form](https://forms.gle/LgcDKWPFAuLqrMpT9) so I can gauge interests!
I originally posted about this group on the [Climate Change AI forum](https://forum.climatechange.ai/) which has some great resources if you are new to this area!
