Hi everyone, I'm a former semi-professional poker player who has been working in tech for over 15 years, most currently as COO at a marketing tech startup in Santa Monica. I thought a lot about the frameworks and mindsets that are needed to make decisions in the imperfect information world of poker, and how it would be extremely applicable to building startups.

Being able to think probabilistically, think long term, and not be results oriented are critical skills needed for founders and startup employees. I wrote a book about this, and I've made it free to read on Amazon until Thursday May 28th! I think this community will enjoy the book, it deep dives into these frameworks, and gives fun poker examples and real life business cases including Netflix, Airbnb, Uber, and more.
