We think of it as the 1st follow up app.
It's designed to be a simple autoresponder for when you meet new people.
Here is how it works:
1. Prepare an email templates 2. Scan business card 3. Get a draft ready to send
You can scan anything to find an email address (even handwritten works!). You don't have to send the email right away, I sometimes use the draft folder as a todo list.
The idea was born from my experience going to large conferences (CES, MWC, etc..) and getting hundreds of business cards. I would never fully get around to following up with everyone for different reasons. Yet the business card scanner apps out there are either limited or paid, and they just capture the data (digital rolodex). It's the follow-up action that is missing.
I know people here don't like business cards, I sympathize. But others do, and you can scan the cards and give'em back. Also if you meet someone without a business card give the scan button a long press ;)
Happy to get some feedback.
I'm curious to know peoples follow up methods, and what email templates you think are useful (I once thought to include a 'complaint' template for restaurants - "I want to speak with your manager").
