- on which more than 5.2 million online voters opposed against in a online petition (the record so far using the EU online petition platform)
- against which lots of renowned people opposed (among those is for example Tim Berners-Lee)
- against which in Germany alone 200,000 people were on the streets last Saturday
But nevertheless the law was passed due to extensive Lobbyism and - of course - ignorance and lack of knowledge by the involved politicians.
I am considering creating a crowd-funding platform which enables regular people to rent a professional lobbyist who will be supported by the collected money. The platform (and of course the associated money) should enable the lobbyist to be on par with regular lobbyists.
I'd like to hear your general thoughts and ideas regarding this.
