RESTHeart announces support for MongoDB transactions and change streams

RESTHeart, the leading Web API for MongoDB, recently published its product roadmap.

The new major release 4.0 is expected in early 2019 and will feature many improvements including a simpler JSON representation format, support for transactions and change streams.

Another important announcement made by SoftInstigate, the company behind RESTHeart, is about the security sub-module that was moved to the new independent, first-class project named uIAM (micro-IAM).

uIAM is an Identity and Access Manager that includes and extends the security features embedded in RESTHeart 3.x.
