Ask HN: Is there a bio lab with up to date systems?

I was referred to a lab (LabCorp) and found their office a bit sketchy, Wireless ipads that you scan your drivers license and insurance card. Understaffed. Other red flags.. so I left and started researching them. It turns out they were hacked recently. [1] I do not regret trusting my instinct.

Is there a modern lab that has up-front pricing for their options and modern secured systems? I know nothing is perfect, but I am looking for a lab that at least makes an effort to secure patient data and has extensive capabilities.

I am asking here because I know there are a lot of good scientists that read HN daily.
