I run a small visualization company, Dynamoid. For the last four years, I've been building out a VR interface for using our internal tools for importing and visualizing scientific and other datasets - it's now a full VR visualization platform, 10k.
This week I launched it on Steam Early Access. https://store.steampowered.com/app/879660/10k/
It runs on both Rift and Vive (and theoretically Windows MR though I haven't tested it enough).
10k supports importing molecular structures from the Protein Data Bank (rcsb.org), financial datasets from Quandl.com, neuron structures from Neuromorpho.org, as well as 3D models and images (FBX, OBJ, PNG, JPG).
More info about the data types can be found here: http://10k.systems
Oh, and, the name is short for Ten Thousand Things, meaning everything in the universe.
Thanks for taking a look!
