I would like to show you a browser extension that I've been working on for a while:
Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fake-data-a-form-f...
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fake-data-hat...
Fake Data is an extension that will fill forms for you with, as the name suggests, fake data.
Some of the notable features are:
- it has multiple types of predefined data generators, like names, addresses, lorem ipsum texts, and more.
- you can create your own ones using javascript, and make them do everything
- it's able to choose / select random values for select elements, radio buttons, checkboxes
- special inputs like email, password, number, date are recognised automatically
- a lot more features
It might not be the best extension at doing this kind of stuff, but it's heading in that direction. What I am asking from you are critics about it. If you are going to try it out, throw here everything that you dislike at it. The more, the better.
Best regards!
