While using Lambda with Serverless Framework, we noticed that it took quite a bit of AWS knowledge to configure the development workflow. Everything from configuring environments, to tracking deployments, setting up custom domains, enabling access logs, etc. This can make the transition to Lambda quite painful, in spite of all the advantages of serverless. Seed is a service to deploy, manage, and monitor serverless framework apps on AWS.
Our goal is to ensure that your team needs to do as little AWS related devops to work with Lambda. We want to improve the developer experience and workflow. There is a lot more that needs to be done but improving developer productivity at teams is something we think about a lot.
We wanted to share what we have and get your feedback!
