Ask HN: Accessible issue tracking for the visually impaired?

I work with Bristol Braille Technology[1] on the Canute, a multi-line refreshable Braille e-book reader. My work is mainly on the user interface[2] which is an open source Python application.

We are using a mix of GitHub issues and emails at the moment and it doesn't seem great. GitHub issues are not easily viewable with a screen reader and emails are, well, emails. Right now we only have a couple of test users but we plan to scale this up when we finalize the design.

Do you know of any issue tracker that are user friendly and work well with screen readers?
