Search for .md docs, would it be useful?

For those of you, who prefer storing docs in Markdown, alongside with the code or in a separate repo. What would you think about being able to see them anytime you want through something, looking like Apple Spotlight?

I'm using it myself and find it quite convenient. But I'm definitely biased because I've created it, so asking HN if it looks useful at all or not.
