and I cannot find anything useful elsewhere.
The aforementioned link states:
"using the Google Cloud Platform to develop prototypes or applications with a view to generating revenue in the future. Most software developers -- including affiliates, sole traders, self-employed merchants, partnerships, students and others"
So, if I understood that correctly, my personal projects from which I might have a profit in the future fall under business. Thus the can treat everyone as a B2B transaction which has undoubtedly enough economic advantages to them so they can really afford to lose european developers who might fall in love with GCP with their pet projects and bring their expertise to actual businesses later.
But I'm not much interested in polemicising; I'm sure the business unfriendly EU laws play a part in this as well as Google's fuck you attitude.
I just want to know how can I hold my side of the VAT obligation in case I want to use the Google Cloud Platform and I don't have a company where I can just delegate the matter to my accounting department.
