We've created a small, consumable world in which we have invited players to make their own cities, nations, and experiences. It is a total sandbox experience with admins intervening only if players cheat or hack. This is due to a unique plugin set that allows players to moderate the community by working together. What started a little over two weeks ago can only be described as a representation of what it felt like when civilization began thousands and thousands of years ago. The server opened up and players descended upon the unmapped islands and well, started killing each other almost immediately. The first day there were about 300 murders. Players have settled down inside reinforced cities now though, built farms, and the killing has stopped. Now players who raid and grief almost immediately see bounties put up for their detainment.

We went from nomads roaming the plains, killing everything in sight, to a number of cities springing up on (https://i.imgur.com/i5mqhNx.jpg) what people have called 'Spawn Island'.

Even the islands were left to the players to name. Several of the geographic features on each of the custom world painted islands have been named by the players as well. (https://i.imgur.com/a0B3gt5.jpg)

Our plugins, Citadel, PrisonPearl, JukeAlert all allow the players to apply justice and law themselves. This creates judicial systems and a sense of order.
